2026 Annual Conference Exhibitors and Sponsors (18 Aug 2026)

We are excited to announce that on Thursday and Friday, October 8 & 9, 2026, the Minnesota Breastfeeding Coalition (MBC) will host its in-person two-day Annual Conference at the Wilder Center in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Our keynote speaker is Catherine Watson Genna, BA, IBCLC, an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant and renowned clinical expert, speaker, and author. Read more about Catherine here.

Our audience will include physicians, midwives, nurses, lactation consultants and counselors, public health professionals, speech-language pathologists, and more. Approximately 150 attendees are expected from throughout Minnesota and neighboring states. Your sponsorship is essential to providing the high-quality, engaging educational and networking experience that this conference is known for.

This year, we have a very limited number of exhibitor spaces, and they will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. Small non-profit and community organizations are encouraged to inquire about providing brochures or other printed material for display at the MBC table.

Continuing education credits (CERPs): This program has been approved for CERPs through the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners. The Thursday program is approved for 6.0 CERPs and Friday is approved for up to 5.25 CERPs, giving you the opportunity to earn up to 11.25 CERPs for both days.

Silent auction
The silent auction will be open from October 1 to October 9. To donate an item, service, tickets, or anything else, email a description, photo, and estimated value to Tipper at director@mnbreastfeedingcoalition.org. A limited number of items can be added to the auction during conference.

The hotel conference rates have expired, but were offered by these hotels:

Courtyard by Marriott, St. Paul Downtown—$149/night (plus parking; book by September 2)
DoubleTree by Hilton, 2540 North Cleveland Avenue, Roseville, Minnesota—$129/night (book by September 17)

Parking: Parking at the Wilder Center is free.

Scholarships: We understand that registration costs can be a barrier to participation. This year, we are offering a limited number of scholarships to help make this conference more accessible. The application is now available; applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. 9/22/2026 update: We have closed the application process at this time; if sufficient funds are available, we will re-open the application.

Registration closes on October 5, 2026. A limited number of walk-ins may be accommodated; however, we cannot guarantee food will be provided. Join us for an evening in celebration of MBC's 20th birthday after day one of the conference.

Each attendee will receive one drink ticket for the taproom—non-alcoholic drinks are available. We'll provide cake and other birthday fun. Farina Rossa is on-site with their wood-fired pizzas if you get hungry!

We hope to see you for this time of networking, fun with colleagues, and celebrating the legacy of the Minnesota Breastfeeding Coalition. Partners and well-supervised children are welcome. Please note: This is a mostly outdoor event; come dressed for the weather!

RSVPs are not required, but are helpful for planning purposes.
