Join us for Lactapalooza: Celebrating breastfeeding and all human milk feeding journeys!
In past years, the Central MN Breastfeeding Coalition (CMBC) hosted the annual Global Big Latch-On (BLO) as part of World Breastfeeding Week. Since the BLO has now moved to April, the CMBC has decided to create its own event to honor, celebrate, and normalize breastfeeding. Lactapalooza will feature educational speakers on important lactation-related topics, kids' activities, vendors, giveaways, and solidarity around feeding our babies! Come to Pioneer Park in Monticello on Saturday morning, August 20th, and join in the fun! Pack a picnic lunch if you want, bring the whole family, invite your friends, and help support human milk production!
If you happen to produce extra milk, please consider donating during our event! The MN Milk Bank will have a private tent on site for screening and donations. Call 320-654-3630 ext. 51990 to set up an appointment.
