We are excited to announce that on October 9 & 10, 2024 the Minnesota Breastfeeding Coalition (MBC) will host its in-person two-day Annual Conference - "Bridging Gaps: Lactation Care for ALL Minnesota Families" - at the award-winning McNamara Alumni Center on the campus of the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. We're also excited that this year's conference will be co-hosted by the University of Minnesota School of Medicine's Department of Pediatrics. One of our keynote speakers is a primary care physician with Breastfeeding Medicine of Northeast Ohio with a passion for solving feeding problems as a team that involves primary care providers. Presentations will also address the gaps and barriers faced in providing lactation health care for rural, Muslim, Somali, other East African, and Black Minnesotans. Your sponsorship and support makes for a healthier Minnesota as we work to help all families get their babies off to the healthiest start possible.
